investigation. Drugs in tap water supplies of 24 major cities, drugs such as sex hormones, radiation or chemotherapy prescriptions, painkillers and antibiotics are just a few of the drugs found.

Males of these species carrying eggs would be a mutation caused by sex hormones, maybe from the drugs in the water source after exposure over a period of time.
